By participating in the program, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
- To be eligible, a current Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter member in good standing (referred to below as a “Nominator”) must refer a fellow professional/industry colleague (referred to below as a “Candidate”), for Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter membership.
- The Candidate cannot have held a membership of the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter in any category previously.
- Renewals or Complimentary memberships or self-referrals are not eligible.
- There is no limit on the number of referrals a Nominator may make.

- ABSOLUTELY NO SPAM. You may not send unsolicited emails or distribute messages in any way which may constitute spam.
- Nominator must inform the Candidate that the Nominator is eligible to receive a prize.
- The Candidate can be registered either as an IT professional or IT student, depending on his/her status and submit his/her application during 2021 between July 2nd 00:00:00 and October 2nd 23:59:59, EEST.
- The Candidate must meet membership requirements.
- The Candidate must enter the details [the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter ID] of the Nominator accurately during his/her initial membership registration in the field “Other” of the registration form found at https://isc2-chapter.gr/register/member/ or https://isc2-chapter.gr/register/student-member/.
- Nominators may not post their Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter ID through social media or otherwise publicly display their Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter ID for the purpose of getting referrals. In such case, Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter, may at its sole discretion, cancel any such referral.
- A Candidate may only refer one Nominator.
- Nominators confirm that they have provided their consent to the Candidates for their details to be included within the registration form. Nominator consents for his/her personal data to be disclosed to Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter by the Candidate and consents to Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter processing his/her personal data for the purpose of this program.
- The Candidate should pay his/her registration fees (30 € for professional members or 10 € for students) by Oct 2nd, 2021 at 23:59:59 EEST.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter accepts no responsibility for lost or incomplete or inaccurate applications. Cancelled applications cannot be taken into consideration.
- Award shall be granted upon the Candidates’ payment of the relevant subscription fee by chronological order.
- In particular, award is assigned to the Nominator upon the payment of the yearly subscription fee of the newly registered member(s). Paid fees are non-refundable, even in case a Candidate’s application is eventually rejected, in order to avoid misleading referral submissions.
- The Nominator who will refer the most new Chapter Members will receive a Fortigate 40F device for FREE! Award is personal and non-transferable.
- There will be no cash equivalent or prize substitution offered.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter shall contact the successful Nominator at their contact details provided by them to the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter, as found at the Members Registry. If you need to update your contact details, please inform the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter promptly.
- Should a winner not respond or cannot be contacted prior to 7th of October 2021, Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter will award the prize to the next successful Nominator and so on.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter, based on legitimate interest, may publish the name of the award winner on the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter’s website and/or social media.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter will at its absolute discretion reject any application which it feels does not comply with these terms and conditions and/or where the Candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria for membership.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter accepts no liability for any inaccurate information contained within any submitted Candidate application as it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide accurate information. Any submissions for which compliance with all legislative and statutory requirements is not evident, and no satisfactory explanation is available, will be deemed invalid.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter takes the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously. Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use personal information in accordance with data protection laws. Our privacy policy can be found at https://isc2-chapter.gr/home/privacy-notice/.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter, its representatives, its administration members (Board of Officers, Audit Committee), its related independent contractors shall not be liable for any loss, injury, liability, expense or damage whatsoever or howsoever incurred or sustained by any Nominator and/or Candidate and/or any other person by reason of, arising from or in connection with this program and/or the redemption and/or of any service, product or facility of any merchant or any transaction that are processed late, incorrectly or lost due to computer or other electronic breakdown or malfunction or for any other reason.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this program should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of the program.
- Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter from any and all liability arising from their participation in the program, or Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter’s use of any entry information.
- Hellenic (ISC)² Chapter reserves the right to amend, withdraw or extend the scheme at any time, without any given notice.
- Greek law applies to these terms and conditions. In case of dispute, the courts of Athens, Greece shall be competent.
- The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these terms and conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
