Cyber Safety talk to Parents and Teachers

5th International Conference ISDF2019 – Information Security and Digital Forensics

OPAP “Think Before U Click” event – 22.10.2019
Our Chapter was invited at OPAP’s “Think Before U Click” Cyber Security Awareness Month event in October. Panagiotis Soulos, our Chapter’s Secretary, presented the Safe and Secure Online Parents Edition of Center of Cyber Safety and Education.

The (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter announces the release of awareness material for Parents in Greek
The Hellenic Chapter of (ISC)2 is actively taking part in the official translations of the awareness material of Center of Cyber Safety and Education (https://iamcybersafe.org).
In collaboration with (ISC)2 and the Center of Cyber Safety and Education, a group of 13 Chapter members has been assembled in June 2019 in order to translate the awareness material in Greek. The translations are still in progress and cover the topics of Parents, Seniors, Youth and Kids.

Safe and Secure Online in Greek – Volunteer and earn CPEs!
(ISC)2 charitable foundation – Center for Cyber Safety and Education (the Center), recently embarked on a new project to translate all of their Safe and Secure Online free resources to multiple languages including Greek with the hope to better educate communities worldwide about internet safety.
The Center is actively looking for (ISC)2 members or associates that speak Greek to participate in this project that will start in June (all members participating will receive CPE credits). The (ISC)2 Hellenic Chapter is actively taking part of this project.
If you are interested in helping translate the materials, please login to your existing (ISC)2 Member Profile and click on Community on the right-hand side of the page to get started. From there, click the Register button and create a screen name for the Community.
Once you have completed this step your account will be created. You can email Beatriz Parres (bparres[at]isc2.org) & Panagiotis Soulos (p.soulos[at]isc2-chapter.gr) your username, so that you can be added to the correct group.
The team will be assembled in May, so please try to register before the end of May.
