We are proud to announce that the Greek Chapter has been officially announced an (ISC)²® Official Training Provider
(ISC)² Hellenic Chapter To Provide Greek Professionals with Career Support as an (ISC)²® Official Training Provider
Chapter open to all interested in cybersecurity with first (ISC)2 CISSP® classes planned for March
Cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals now have access to (ISC)² official training courses as part of the professional development support as the (ISC)² Hellenic Chapter announced today that it has been appointed as an (ISC)² Official Training Provider (OTP). The chapter will be offering courses to support professionals interested in the gold-standard CISSP® certification from March. Interested professionals are invited to join the next Chapter meeting at OTE Academy (Pelika & Spartis 1 – Marousi), 24th of February 2016.
The 2015 (ISC)² Global Information Security Workforce Study forecasts a 1.5 million shortfall of information security professionals by 2020 as organisations face an increase in the volume and sophistication of threats and malware. Keeping best practices and procedures up to date with a constantly evolving threat landscape requires information security professionals committed to continually expanding their knowledge and expertise. The (ISC)² Hellenic Chapter, established in June 2015 and managed by a board of Certified Information Security Professionals offers networking and educational evenings open to all students and professionals interested in the field. As an (ISC)² OTP, the chapter will enhance this support with regularly scheduled (ISC)² CBK Training Seminars. The first courses are to cover the eight domains of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). All courses will be led by Certified professional members of the chapter who have pursued qualification as an Official (ISC)² Trainer.
